# What is Citd?

> Track and improve your brand's visibility in AI shopping results.

Shoppers are asking AI assistants — ChatGPT, Gemini, and others — questions like "best trail running shoes under \$150" instead of typing into a search bar. The AI picks a handful of brands to recommend. Your brand is either in that list or it isn't.

**Citd tells you where you stand, who is beating you, and what to change.**

<Info>
There is no page 2 in an AI answer. If you are not named in the response, you are invisible — regardless of how good your products are. Citd helps you change that.

## Who it's for

Citd is built for Shopify brands, merchandisers, SEO/content teams, and agencies that need a clear view of AI shopping performance.

* **Track** how often your brand appears in buyer prompts
* **Benchmark** your position against real competitors in the same result set
* **Diagnose** why you lose important prompts
* **Act** on prioritized fixes for catalog, content, schema, and authority

## What Citd measures

Citd continuously runs tracked shopping prompts and measures:

## How it works

1. **Add your brand** — enter your store URL and brand name. Citd reads your storefront to discover product topics.
2. **Review topics and prompts** — confirm the product areas and buyer queries Citd will track.
3. **Connect integrations (optional)** — link Shopify or Google Search Console to enrich your data.
4. **Citd runs recurring tracking** — it submits each prompt to AI assistants and records the responses.
5. **Overview shows the current state** — metrics, competitors, cited sources, and recent raw responses.
6. **Analysis and Actions explain what to fix** — and tell you how to prioritize improvements.
